Though not a City of Aztec Office or Service, the City of Aztec contracts to Transit Waste to pick-up and dispose of solid waste. Information on waste disposal is provided so that Aztec citizens have the necessary information to dispose of solid waste. Below is a list of things you might need to know.
- All solid waste picked up from the curb-side is disposed by Transit Waste at the Bondad Landfill.
- Aztec Residents must pay in order to dispose of trash at the San Juan County Landfill which is managed by Waste Management of New Mexico (a different company). Below is information pertaining to the San Juan County Landfill.
