REGIONAL TRANSIT SERVICES

The City of Aztec does not own or operate the regional transit bus systems that provide transportation services in San Juan County, New Mexico or La Plata County, Colorado. The information provided below is a courtesy to people who utilize those public transportation systems.

RED APPLE TRANSIT

Red Apple Transit, operated by First Transit, Inc., is the public bus system for the City of Farmington. Over the years the system has grown to extend services to Aztec, Kirtland and areas inbetween. NOTE: In 2016, Bloomfield opted out of participating due to budgetary issues.

    Road Runner Transit, owned and operated by the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, provides public bus services to the east side of La Plata County, Colorado. In 2009, their route extended south to Aztec.
